HOG Wedding
Well the time has come (spring) and we are looking at the how what, where - we both want something simple but also thinking about something out of the ordinary. Since I'm a member of the local chapter and she will be, wants to learn to ride next year and has enjoys chapter outings this could be one option on the list. She told me about a friend of her's (a monk) that came out to an empty field in the country to perform a biker wedding, tents scattered all over and bikes lined up to form an isle.....all running and revved up as the bride passed then all went silent. Not really into the tent thing but a ride ending in ceremony and lunch could be fun - anyone every done or been to one?

Read some of the threads here about how people have gone into HOG all excited but come out pissed off and disappointed a few years later. I wouldn't make it a HOG event. HOG comes and HOG goes, but wedding pictures are forever. Wouldn't you hate to look back in 5 years and be surrounded by a bunch of people you can't stand any more? It happens.

it could be great if you do it tastfully.. i wanted to ride my bike down the isle of a catholic church and down the front steps with my exgf.. (that is part of the reason she is an ex,she thought i was crazy)i like that bikes in a field idea, then a 40-50(cant be too far) mile ride to the reception..leather tux jackets.. if your new wife starts your journy out in a full white leather wedding dress you know you've got somthing good

get married at one of the big biker rallys...daytona, laughlin, ruidoso, laconia, or sturgis. a quiet little ceremony with a few thousand people as witnesses. ride down main street to the reception. forget the HOG idea.
