Thank You PATRIOT GUARD
Just had the 5th funeral (a couple weeks ago) in our area for another hero who chose to serve his country by military service. Saw something on the net tonight about the Patriot Guard and started thinking about the funerals I've been to (I have been on duty and worked three of the funerals, rode along in one, was out of town for the other) and just felt the need to say THANK YOU!! Words cannot express how impressive it is when the Patriot Guard riders roll in!
THANK YOU to all of the PATRIOT GUARD members for what you do! And may God bless those families who have lost loved ones while serving their country.

The Patriot Guard Riders is a great organization. I have participated in several funeral services as a member of the PGR. It's a sad as well as very rewarding experience.
Thanks for the recognition.

I ride with the PGR here in Wisconsin and think it's a great way to show your appreciation for those that have served. Please consider joining, the thanks from friends and family will be your only reward but believe me IT"S ENOUGH!

I will remember one mission until the day I die. We were escorting a 24yr old KIA from the airport to the funeral home. We usually park organized but when we pulled in we were waved to just park anywhere and everywhere. I parked in a random spot and a car parked besides me, it was the families car.
As I was getting off the bike the Mom burst out of the back seat and grabbed onto me asking how this could happen. When I lifted my sunglasses and she saw my tears we both really lost it. We stood there for a few minutes hugging with the rest of the family circled around us then we all walked with her to the door.
I realized I have to continue doing this as long as I am able to.
Please join.
