I am a PGR member here in the St Louis area. When I joined the PGR I did not realize how many great people I would meet and how many tears I would shed. Great Organization, that fulfills a great need. I have the honor of participating in a Welcome Home for a wounded warrior tomorrow, so it is not all funerals. You do not even need to ride to join the PGR, anyone that wants to honor our service members is welcome!

Cage or bike, all are welcome. Really the only thing needed is dark glasses. I have this thing about people seeing me with overly moist eyes.

Sadly, will be taking part in a mission within the next week. A young Marine, one day shy of his 21st birthday from here in Central PA has given his life for the welfare of our Country. Thank you LCpl Ralph Fabbri.

So easy to participate
All ya gotta do is show up...any bike or no bike, prior service or not. Most times I go, I know no one, but leave meeting many. What a great opportunity to honor those who have choosen to protect our liberty.

PGR is a straight up classy organization that I am proud to be a member of.
Its not all funerals either. I did one in Dallas that honored some of the remaining WWII POWs. What an incredible experience that was. Riding with PGR is one rewarding experience after another. I wish I could ride them all.

PGR doesn't do that, nor do they support it. PGR is about respect, and everyone knows what is expected of them. I suppose you feel as though the three-volley salute is disrespectful as well due to being loud.
