Need '66 FLH painted in CA, anyone recommend good painter?
Hey, pretty new to the forum and I don't see a specific category for this so...
I recently acquired a 1966 FLH and want to have it repainted. I live in the Sacramento, CA area. I want to have it painted a factory scheme, Hi Fi Red with Birch White panels and bags. I understand there is a specific way to shoot this and I've spoken to John Pierce at Colorwrite in NH about doing it. I want it done correctly and he certainly sounds like he knows what he's doing. My question is, since I live in CA is: does anyone know of a painter here in CA or closer to me that knows how to shoot this or does vintage paint?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Try posting it in the 1965-1984 section.
Any pics of your bike? I passed on a nice '66 a few months ago and kick myself.

Thanks. Yep...here is a pic of it. It is "Hi-Fi Burgundy" now but without the "Hi Fi" lol. there is supposed to be a silver base coat under the "Burgundy." It just looks pink to me. Nicknamed it the "Piglet" and its gotta go...
