Mega Mods... I gotta be crazy
Here is the list.
New Skull Grips
Chrome Switch covers
Chrome Aux Switch Housing
Put all wires in the handle bars
Poly Bushings
Braided Clutch Cable
Custom Brake and Clutch levers
Billett Oil cooler with Jagg
Install power cable in handle bars to New Garmin GPS
And It looks like I am gonna need that rear tire sooner than expected.
I dove into it today. Like to have never gotten the throttle return cable out of the housing.
Had to repair multiple pinched wires in the switch housing on the left. Person before me butchered it when they did it. I'll meg everything before I finish.
Got the bars back on. Got to do something about the switch housings. They are loose without the wiring going underneath.

I'll have some tomorrow.
It got to me today. The last pin on the left grip harness broke as I pushed it into the connector. Crap.
One friggin pin. Dealer didn't have one. Wonder how long it'll take to get that.

I did the chrome controls and braided lines as soon as I got my brand new bike home.
I remember wanting to take a hammer to the switch housing when they wouldn't just go on. Wiring was so tight, I had to walk away a few times.
There were times when I thought why didn't I just let the dealer do it.
After it was done, the money I saved doing it myself and the satisfaction that comes with DIY was worth it.
When my bars and risers from BR get in, I'll have to unsolder the handlebar switches and solder the new wires to them and to the plug ends.
Add the new Arlen Ness flush mounted poly bushings, relocate the turnsignals to the fork pinch bolts.
Replace the cables with longer braided ones.
Install the 2" tank lift kit, (still waiting on it so I can paint it to match).
Sleeve the wiring with Chrome XC to get it that braided cable look.

I don't drink beer, so it will be many pots of coffee.
Good luck with your mods.
