My Mother and Father both ride trikes, and my Dad can still ride a two wheeler better than most people I know. I don't get it either, but I don't have to get it. It's his choice to ride whatever he wants and who am I (or you) to judge what another person rides? It's his money and choice and he can buy/ride whatever he wants.

Whatever makes people happy. If it doesn't harm me, isn't against the laws of nature, more power to them. I , too, don't see why some folks worry so much about others habits.

I wouldn't mind having one, whether it is a HD trike or even a CanAm. Looks like fun, and the feedback I have gotten from CanAm owners is they love them to death.

I'd have to go the trike route if I were to need extra wheels, I enjoy leaning back on my wife's fun bags too much.

A guy that we have ridden with a couple of times rides a trike. He is in a wheelchair and the trike gives him room for him, his wife, the wheelchair and trunk space. With a sidecar, I don't think he'd get that. I'm guessing the trike is more stable in turns and such, as well, since the sidecar only gives support to one side of the bike/rider.

Think about it for a minute, not all bikers are 100%.Two very close friends had to give up two wheels, one because of home invasion left him a parapalegic, the other is developing Parkinsons, both not ready to give up being in the wind.So you see it makes a lot of sense to give these guys the choice of how they can enjoy what we take for granted.

Then there are are the kits that are actually training wheels that retain the bikes's rear wheel. After that, we get the trike conversions which H-D is now selling. How about a cool side car? Handling wouldn't be any worse, and Mama would probably be more comfy. When the time comes, I will go sidecar. Plus, for some reason, people love 'em.

I have the same problem with the color blue.

Hmmmm How about a trike with a side car...That would really pi$$ off the fun police. Why worry about what someone else rides or drives?
