Hope you didn't attempt to jump it with a CAR! That's a definite NO-NO! If so, you prolly blew a fuse (and hopefully nothing else!)

1) Blown fuse
2) Internal short in battery
3) Loose terminal connection

What year is your bike? If it is a newer bike you are NEVER supposed to jump start them. If you do, you will fry your electronic ignition box.

I'd say fuse or breaker also. You CAN jump a bike just don't start the car. I've done it dozens of times with no probs.

my owners manual for my 09SB just lists "jumping not recommended but is necessary at times" then describes the usual hook-up of the jumper cables (negative clamp goes to a ground on the dead vehicle, not to the negative battery terminal)

also just specifies that the donor vehicle be a 12v system (duh) but nothing about it not being a car battery.

This is the best list to start with, but I would check the Loose terminal first. If it was loose before you jumped it, the boost can arc the loose wire and cause a poor connection.
