Default Motocross Goggles for street riding?

I was curious to know is anyone tried wearing Motocross goggles with open face helmets (1/2 or 3/4) for eye protection? While I have found good sunglasses for day riding, night glasses I have gotten seem to all create some type of light reflection that makes riding distracted (especially with ones that are worn over prescription glasses).

I know that Oakley goggles for MX have great optics and anti fog properties and was curious if anyone has tried any MX glasses for street riding. If so, surious to know what upsides and downsides there might be (other than goofy appearance which I don't care about at all). I was considering these, since they can also be worn over glasses..

I used to wear them all the time in my teens when I rode an enduro. Now I only wear them when blasting down the lake in the winter. They do offer superior protection to sunglasses.

They make goggles for street riding.

As for riding at night, I got a pair of Winchester wrap-around shooting glasses (shaped like Oakleys).

Bought them at Wal-Mart for $5.

No wind in the eye, no optical distortion. Work great.

I don't at all, not the type of person to be looking for appearance opinions, just comfort and function related ones. :-)
