Dude better be a whole lot better than the rest of us. I put a tank lift on my bike to make it easier to see the gas gauge. To hell with looking at my phone.

That is just sooo wrong on so many levels! Just how much of a dumass do you have to be to think that we'd fall for THAT one! Bwwwaaaahhh! Good one! Hilarious!

I can only imagine just what kinda fun the other morons who get busted for texting are going to have with that precedent.

It's not precedent. You could use it as an argument, but just because a P.D. or State Patrol doesn't punish as officer for something, does not create 'Legal Precedent' that can be used in court.
