im rebuilding an '83 v65, 1100magnaV4..wanting A OD green,military theme (bike's name'Grunt') this will b a rat bike when finished. any ideas on items that can be used for an unusal gas tank????

 

Maybe an old 60's series Triumph Bonneville tank with the six-pack rack, or something along the lines of a Guzzy or BMW tank from back in the day.

 

we discussed turning a fire extinguisher into a tank. other (nos bottle,...)trying to stay within budget

 

Military theme, maybe Jerry Can(s), ammo boxes, or a bunch of canteens (what capacity are you looking for?).

 

i like the canteen idea,need larger cap though. shape looking 4 like a food container used in the field or a tank round

 

Take an old pony keg and paint it OD Green
