Thats a heck of a good copy. I'm sure every person here has seen some of the sadest versions of the Captian America bike being pawned off as "copies". This one isn't so bad.

Funny that the one bid for it is $19,995. When I bid for things on Ebay, I don't do the "995" thing. Paughco makes a Captain America bike kit. Maybe this is one of them. If I had that kind of money to throw around I'd buy it but I'd also have Peter Fonda ride it over to the house for me.

There is an HD dealer around here that has a bike that looks just like that one and it's not for sale that I know of. I love looking at it, but would not really want to ride it all that much. To me the price seem too high.

Peter Fonda has a ranch in the next valley over.

Every summer in the weeks before and following Sturgis, there are always people on their wannabe Captain Americas getting their picture taken in front of his gate.

Fonda himself rides a bone stock Road King.

I think I'm the only guy on the planet that really didn't like this movie. I do own it on DVD and watched it a few times. I like the bikes and the scenes of them riding around, but I'm not crazy about drug smoking hippies and I really hated the ending.

The risers are wrong also. Funny thing about the Capt. America bike is that it had two sets of risers, regular risers, a bar, and then another pair of dog bones then shorter apes.
