Extremely small town i live in i usually just cruise to store and gets some smokes. If Im going any further I put on the helm, just not worth the risk.

heck I love my cal stat hat till I reach az. then it goes in the motel room and stays till I leave . also I don't understand all that that you said -harleyriv-just saying it's my head so leaave me alone..still riding and now 70 and most of that with out a state hat...

I see quite a few rice rocket jocks rolling with no helmets, but the mountains aren't the city......

After riding in Oz with mandatory helmet laws for 15 years, and 9.5 years here in Colorado with no helmet law, I appreciate the right to decide.

I think some people have their helmets cinched too tight.

It's cutting off the blood to their brains, resulting in their deluded assumption that their nanny-esque opinions on my "right to decide" should matter to me.


It's as amusing as always tho...
