Default Goodbye Old Friend

I rode my '04 FLSTF(Carbed) Fatboy for the last time today. I rode it to the dealer so they could take possession of it. I traded it in on a 2011 FLHRC with the Power Pak Option. I wanted the reliability of the Fuel Injected bikes. I hope I like it as well as I liked the Fatboy. I would hate to spend that much money and hate the damned thing. I guess I will know when they deliver it and I start riding it everyday.

Tough choice to make, no doubt. I'm sure you'll be happy after you start riding the new one.

Sad to let your FB go, but congrats on the new scoot. I'm sure you'll ride those memories away in no time.

I also have an '04 CARBED Fatty AND a FI RoadKing. You won't get that great idle sound or smooth steady cruise of the carb & fuel reserve with EFI, but you'll get a bike that starts, idles perfectly, and always runs well, no matter what the temp. or humidity is. An equal trade off, IMHO.

BUT!!!

If you decide you don't like it, I'll be more than happy to swap you MY Fatboy for your new RoadKing. Then you're back to where you started. No problem there
