Good for you to make the change (or upgrade depending on how you look at it).
I went from a plain Jane1996 FLHT (in the sig pic) to a 09 Ultra Classic in September 09.

There was an immediate honeymoon period followed by an adjustment period where I wasn't sure I did the right thing but after a couple of thousand miles I decided I was happy (enough) with it.

Just like marriage!

You'll love that bigger engine, brakes, and better handling....

Update: I took delivery of the RK Thursday evening and have put 100 miles on it so far. I can't believe the difference in the ride and handling. It's like riding on a cloud. I haven't had a chance to slap leather to it yet as I am still in the break in period on the motor. After I hit the 500 mile mark I will probably wring it out. It does hit 60 MPH pretty quick. The sixth gear is great. My Fatboy was great but I think I am going to like this bike a lot better.

I rode to the dealership yesterday and there sat my Fatboy in the used bikes. I had the same sensation I have when I look at my Ex-Wife. I remember the good times, but I don't want to ride you anymore.

Congrats and glad you're happy with the new ride. I prefer carbs myself but to each his own!
