Default Assume nothing

Uhh...did someone assume that instructions were taken down in writing and then diligently passed on to the wash guy so he would have one less bike to wash?

I think they wash to remove all the crap they got on the bike while it was in service. No washing probably leads to more blown head gaskets (in human heads) than if they wash it.

The water squeezes out through the threads, I called the service manager and he was very apologetic and offered a free t-shirt I told him I didn't want fee **** I just want what I asked for and he of course agreed.

The last time they washed it they left scratches in my new ultra flip from LRS, I told the service manager and he offered to buy me a new windsheild but being the nice guy I am I said its not that bad I just dont want them to wash it anymore so that is why I am so pissed now.

The worst part about them washing the bike is it makes a 5 minute job last an hour because they have to wash the bikes, the default should be not to wash unless requested by the customer.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Next time do like I do and take all the proper cleaning supplies with you along with written instructions on how to clean your bike. I also interview the person who will be doing the washing to be sure they are well trained and competent.
No, I said do not wash, and, kids throw fits I chew *** and then take my money elsewhere.

As a customer you should get what you ask for. As for me: I never turn down a free bike wash from someone else. Lord knows I'm not ever likely to do it myself.

Always get my bike washed - it comes back sparkling clean; shined up; ready to ride!
It's a treat!
I can't say enough good things about HD of Tucson.
