Default RE: 07 at MSRP?

07 SE Ultra, 1000.00 over MSRP **BUT** i got them to chop the 695 setup and 114 tilting and one other add on, can't remember what that was, so it ended up a wash at MSRP. Took some walking out a couple of times and even saying no and forcing their hand by ordering a stock Ultra before we got the deal to work. We scrubed the stock ultra for the SE. All their 07's are sold at MSRP except SE's. They didn't want to do MSRP on an SE so I had to attack from the other direction. Now i thought i got a good deal and they can still boast they sold it over MSRP. Of course 2 days later i got my local HOG chapter letter and it said they would waive the 695 setup for members. It's never easy and clear cut what the heck you get on these deals!

MSRP on my 07 FatBoy, however, they gouged me on the setup $620
You see that is not MSRP no matter what anyone says. MSRP is the factory price plus Shipping, Sales Tax, Title and License and nothing else. You shouldn't have to pay an over inflated setup charge which should be part of the deal anyway or document charges. Most setup charges average about $700 here in Phoenix metro with Doc. charges running around $300, that's a bunch of BS. Do you really believe for one minute that they actually spend that many hours to setup the bike that comes almost completely assembled in the shipping crate except for the windshield having to be set in place on some models which takes about 1 minute and check a few fluid levels. That is just pure profit for the dealer so that is not MSRP.

07 Street Glide

MSRP +970 freight and set up. I could have got it $300 cheaper but it was a lot farther away.

MSRP plus freight and setup--negotiated a 50% reduction in the setup fee.

This was in July, my bike was one of the first 07's sold by the dealer, when they still had bunch of 06's on the floor. The bike I purchased was still in shipment.

I felt the price was fair.

You must be sleeping with the owners ugly daughter with a promise that you will marry her. I'd like to see your invoice, then I might believe you since that kind of deal on a new 07' is unheard of especially with a free 1K service thrown in. Of course it is a yellow one. I also notice this is your first post.
