Get to the BBQ EARLY, it goes fast. Get some maps for the good scenic routs to ride during the day. There is a train that goes between the different locations so park close to the fairground and you wont have to walk 10 miles. Get in line early or you'll be waiting on the train to come back. Dickson street is better in the evening. Bring your wallet...

Don't ride in the parade. If you are there before or after the event, they give parking tickets out before you can get off the bike.

Baum stadium is where the demo rides and most of the builders will be. If you don't take the train between the split event, be very careful of the traffic.

For a good trip take Hwy 62 North of Rogers to Eureka Springs then 23 South Ozark - eat at Rivertowne BBQ, best BBQ in Arkansas.

Enjoy,

Be prepared for some really bad traffic jams and limited parking places.

Sounds like the best thing to do is park way away and catch the train in and then ride some areas out away from all the action. Thanks for all the info! Anybody know anything about the Miss BBB contest? Good or one of thise deals were they lure you in and hit you up for some 6 dollar beers

While on the subject of bikers , blues and bbq , there is a Blues & BBQ being held at the Rumble Inn , biker bar in St Eugene Ontario on Oct 3rd starting at 2p.m. . If you're in the Montreal , Ottawa , Cornwall or just over the border area you might want to take a ride and drop in . I have been to a couple that they did and it was a great time .

I can't wait. It's going to be my first time there, as well. I feel lucky to have friends to stay with, but the traffic is always bad there, so I guess it can and does get worse during BB&BBQ. If it's worse than on game days, it might not be so fun getting around locally.
