Default good indy in orange county NY?

i want to get some carlini apes put on my fatboy and i'm looking for a good indy in orange county NY. i typically do all my own work (the reason why i don't know any good indies up here) but i paid alot (to me) for this bike and to be honest i'm a hacker and a rigger and i want the apes to look professionally done and i know i'll end up breaking out the electrical tape and zip ties and ****... my work had a certain charm on my older bikes but on a more modern, neat bike, it'll just look crappy.

any recommendations? thanks!

Default Moroney's HD

I have heard good things about Jim Moroney's HD in New Windsor/Newburgh area, but I personally have no experience with them.

OK, not a direct answer to your question, but some information I hope will be helpful. First, I don't know any indys in Orange County, but my indy is in Sussex County, NJ and has done right by me in the three years I've used him. It's Sussex Hills on Rt. 23 in Wantage. He's changed bars on two of my bikes and did my PCIII/dyno tune and my ThunderMax tuner. Norm is a great guy. Orange is a big county, so depending on where you're located it might not be too big a ride.

BTW, another poster mentioned Moroney's H-D. I have no experience with them either, but my indy recommends them for dealer work, says they have a good shop.

well just a side note i just had my carlini`s installed (flyin apes) and had dealer do it sometimes you just want a job done right by a A line mech, with a gurantee, as you know they are not cheap, why go cheap on putting them on
