are there different motor mounts for the wide glides? i thought i heard a guy on here referencing motor mounts by number or something. i thought he was saying that some are more rigid than others??

 

Not sure for Dynas, but for the rubber mounted Touring bikes there are companies that make Polyurethane motor mounts to alleviate the "rear steer" problems. Since Dyana are rubber mounted also, I would venture to say there are companies that make upgraded motor mounts.

P.S. since companies that make Touring "stabilizers" also make versions for Dynas....I would assume rubber mounted engine movement is a problem with the Dynas also.

 

You have an (A) Motor rubber mounted engine and (B) Motor balance engine frame mounded engine.

 

Wide glides are Dynas (A) Motor rubber mounted engine

 

are they interchangeable..does one ride better than the other?
