Been wearing a mesh jacket for two summers with armor, love it.

The Olympias' are very good jackets but when it is 106°F, one can sure tell where the non-mesh areas are on these jackets: with the Vanson, the entire garment is mesh.
same with my powertrip - 100%mesh, only the armor blocks air flow (shoulders/elbows/back). Comes with a zip out liner for rain/wind too - so it'd work as an easy way to carry a jacket to cover warmer days and cool nights
