Why are Horn and Light switches not illuminated???
Ok if everything from the center of the bike to darn near the end of the hand grips has wires through it, why is the horn, high beam and turn signals not illuminated?? And one step further on all the Glides the stereo controls. I wondered that with my Road King and now with my Ultra. Does anyone make a kit ?

I agree with eveyone concerning illumination, though the signals should be a rocker switch on one side as opossed to they way they are now

O f coarse I agree with not needing to look, but, there is another reason. Twice the wires!
I changed my switches to chrome as many do and it would not be doable by the average guy (maybe even harley techs) if all those buttons had wires for the lights as well. JMO

Perhaps lights are needed on the shifter, rear brake pedal, kickstand, clutch lever and front brake lever too?

I'm sure Goldwings will have lighted hand controls in the near future. Personally, I'm sticking with my Harley. But FWIW the owners manual (and comon sense) instruct one to become "familiar" with the controls and operation of the mortorcycle BEFORE riding it.
