been given permission to go over there for a month, hire a bike & just ride around. want to make one, possibly two rallies while i'm there.

I take if that you are not in the United States? I suggest Sturgis if you only get to go to one rally.

 

Oh, for the love of God. Well, if your only allowed to go to one, maybe two, you might as well go a some good ones. Hog Rock in Southern Illinois and Bama Bike Fest in Forkland Alabama would be where I would go.

 

Having read your post very carefully, I think you should go to the "Far Away" rally. Make sure you call home before flying back. Most important: Have fun while you're there.

Allowed! Didn't you know you were gonna catch sh*t for that on here!

 

It all depends on what you like. For me I would say the SmokeOut as this would allow you to catch some of the best riding on the East coast. It is riders rally not a trailer queen show.
