i just got back from a beach trip where i put up right at 1500 miles. i was at the point where i needed a new rear tire before i left, but wanted to put up the (mostly) interstate miles on the old tire. i got 12k out of this one. the front still measures safe.

89K on the bike and have averaged 7300 on the rear. Had a rear go down at highway speed once. I don't want to do that again!

Though the front could have gone longer, I changed both original Dunlops at 13.6K because I was about to do a trip and didn't want to chance it. I'm now running Avon Venoms and will be interested to see how far I can get on them.

Damn, that's some pretty darn good mileage out of that front tire!

6k to 8k on rear, 13k to 15k on front. Been running the stock Dunlops but will be switching to the Dunlop Elite 3s this weekend in the hopes of getting better mileage and handling.
