Yes I do tow a trailer... everyday... I haul my tools...

And sometimes I go a little bit crazy when I really don't want to drive my truck...

Changed both at 17500 on my 09 Ultra. Front had a lot of tread left but had started dishing.

Roughly 4k-6k rear, 15-25k front. 2008 heritage classic, somewhat aggressively ridden.

Stock rears were worn out around 3000-4000 and replaced at 5000 when they were gettin dangerous. My first rear E3 was worn out at 6500 but not completely bald yet. The stock front was doing pretty good yet at 15500, probably 2/3 worn out - maybe less, but I replaced it with an E3 to match the rear.

I cant hardly believe these people who get 10,000-15000 on a rear! I was replacing tires every three months!

That is good to know. I was thinking about getting one of those pop-up tent trailers that you can haul all your stuff in.
I guess if you kept it at recommended pressure or above the rear tire would wear out even faster.

I get about 12k out of a rear tire and usually twice that on the front.
I usually change the rear when I start looking at it all the time, once it's in my head that it's getting worn I change it for peace of mind.

I'm amazed at the high miles some are getting, especially out of the rear. I got about 9500 out of the last stock like Dunlop rear, but there was a lot 2 up riding on it. Hope to get about 18k out of the front so I can switch to Elite 3s the next go around.

I always change them when they look like they need changing. 05 springer, 06 RKC and a 07 SG and 8 rear tires and the magic no is 11000 miles. Having said that the RKC has 24000 on it with the original front and could be replaced becuase it's cupped a wee bit and 21000 on the original SG front and I'll likely wait until I need a rear again which will be 28000.
