Default Motorcycles made before 2013

Motorycles manufactored before 2013 if more states like California pass this new EPA law and enforce it will make older motorcycles more valuable. Whats your thoughts?

You want to make a bike more valuable, keep it stock. Store it in a warm dry place. Don't ride it. Wait 30 years.

Every motorcycle I've ever seen was made before 2013 - doesn't seem to be a big deal yet. Everything I own will be valuable some day - I'm not spending my life waiting for it.

The point I am making if the other states enact the same law as California then all bikes before 2013 can have ofter market pipes. With that said they would be more desirable I would think. Meaning the days of old when a used Harley cost almost as much as a new Harley could come back because of the desire to hear the pipes.

Since when did anyone ever consult the law before putting pipes or any other aftermarket accessory on their bikes. If someone wants something bad enought their going to get it. Law enforcement has much more to worry about than testing the decibal level of your exhaust pipe or the emission quality of your exhaust.

Why would anybody care what Califunnya enacts. In the next civil war, they will be on the enemy side.

Default Cat Killin

All the 2010 touring got the catalytic converter in the headpipe and the cruisers in the mufflers! First thing to go in most cases, beyond 2013 if California has not fallen into the ocean by then, they will still be the first ones to go.

They may go after the aftermarket people after 2013 that supply the catless exhaust but as long as we can find a welder and a pipe bender!

Most will still be into the catless look!
