I know I'll be following it. If I had the time and money I would love to have a stable full of the early vintage iron.

 

I know some guys riding down to Wheels Thru Time to see the riders this Sunday.

 

I've been following the articles in American Iron also. Riding across the USA on a 1915 Harley takes real guts and makes for a very interesting article.

 

Just talked to a guy today who told me about it. That is really going to be fun to follow.

I met her in Sturgis when she was selling and signing her new book "The American Motorcycle Girls". Also present was 85 year old Gloria Struck who still rides solo on two wheels. She has been with the Motor Maids going way back.

Read up on Cris. She has a very interesting history in womens motorcycling herself.

As a side note the 1915 Harley she is riding in the Cannonball is part of a collection owned by her husband Pat Simmons. He is one of the Doobie Brothers!

 

Will be rolling threw my home town on Sept 18th.
