Default EPA Bikes

With the economy and the EPA killing Harley collectable bikes may be any Harley, if they run HD out of business. If HD fails at some point, all clean Harley's will go up in price overnight.

2010 the EPA Standards got tough, catalytic converters on all the bikes now! 2012 the clean air standards will get even tougher! The baggers are hot, underpowered and the cats kill the sound!

A double dip recession will hurt sales also!

Completely untouched unmolested completely stock Harleys of all years will someday become collectible if the world doesn't end in 2012...but everyone reading this will be dead or too old to care.

The newer ones leave me cold, that's why I doubt if I'll ever trade my old Nostalga in.

I think the 100 year anniversary editions are already collectable. Try to find a mint condition 03 Ultra, Havn't seen many in Maryland and when you do price is thru the roof. A dealer in Md currently has an 03 for 19,500. I have heard on the east coast a super low mile Ultra Under 5k miles can fetch 20k. That is unbeleivable. If this is the case I would call the 03's collectable. Has anyone bought an 03 lately?

I`m sure your dad said the same thing about his 55 Chevy and I know I said that about my 59 El Camino.

So I guess they only made a couple of hundred of the stock 55-57 Chevys with 283 & 327 motors and automatic transmissions selling at B-J auctions for 50+K and the big blocks for 90K+ . I was wondering why the high price.

My point is you never know and I`ll be dead before I know if my 2008 EFI is worth anything.
