Default MP3 Headphones ?

So does anybody ride with headphones other than those in-helmet types? I ride with a half helmet if any at all...and I miss music when I ride. Looking for some decent headphones I can use with my MP3 player and actually hear the music and not feel like they are going to fly out. Not looking forward to wrapping a headband around my ears to hold them in either, looks like crap ;-)

So what does everybody else do these days? Not really wanting to buy the new speaker kit for the Dyna, $400 a bit much for 2 speakers. Jsut looking to hear some tunes and enjoy the ride.

I'm looking forward to any responses you get as I'm looking into getting an XM radio and was wondering the same thing about some good headphones for a half helmet.

I have a Bell 500 helmut and installed the speakers in the Ear slots. I know that its not what you asked but I find the fit and comfort of riding with the Bell Half which covers the ears not only protects more but it cuts down wind noise and alot more comfortable for highway riding. It looks good also, I wore a skid lid for years.

I use a cheap set that came with my phone, they are hard and uncomfortable, and probably damages my hearing trying to get a song thru over the pipes. Also, i can only listen to radio, no mp3´s. So, my point is, don´t do it like me. Haha.

Harmon Kardon. No ear buds have been comfortable for more than 1 song. These are ... awesome.

I don't need music when I ride, but I see a lot of people with earbuds and Ipods. Pretty sure that's illegal here, but not a big deal. I only like the original Apple earbuds.

Same here. When I decide to use my ZUNE-120 I also use earbuds with a half-helmet. I did have to buy better earbud than what came with the unit.
