Don"t listen to music while riding but I gotta think the custom made plugs you see at all the bike shows would be good.

i picked up a pair at best buy. they are sony, have 3 sizes of ear plug like skull candy, and you can adjust them to block as much or little external sound as you want. they have volume and track control for iPod. I love them!

Used Skull Candy but was never totally happy. Could really hear wind and outside noise. Also, couldn't shake the feeling there would be something a bit more comfortable. I switched to Shure SE100 and they block out just about everything. Way more comfortable, too. I could ride all day with them in. Great on the highway, but I only use them in one ear around town or switch to the Skull Candy if I need to hear traffic.

These probably wont fall out, but you might fall off of your chair after seeing the price.

Those marshmellow tipped ones, kind of a foamy insert almost like hearing protection but with a speaker inside. Blocks the wind and stays in your ear! i know i have the $10 walmart kind and i have a hard time keeping them in my ear sometimes, with a helmet it can be a pain the the ***.

I use a set of sony headphones. They look like the ones in the HD catalog. But are bluetooth capable so I don't have any wires to worry about. They are light and I have worn them all day without any discomfort. I use them to listen to XM with my Zumo 550.
