My father in law lives in eastern Kentucky, and there are gravel roads in some of those hollers I wouldn't even of dream trying to ride a street motorcycle down or up.

You're a braver man than I just trying to tackle Kentucky gravel. Look at it that way

Just dust yourself and the bike off and chalk it up to experience. Gravel sucks. You know what sucks more? Hard packed dirt that has been freshly oiled. They still do that in Jersey and parts of N.Y. I will openly admit that when I see the signs for it, I turn around. Been there, dropped that.

Even on a dirt bike the gravel roads are horrible to ride. I'm 6'4" and there were times in the dirt that I just wanted to turn the Honda XR around and head back the other way. To put the dresser in the gravel would be a heart stopping moment for anybody and a seizure waiting to happen to someone a little vetically challenged.

My daughter is home from University and wanted to do an all day ride with me.
I pull the bike out of the garage and wham down it goes.
My daughter is standing there lookin at me like ,,,,well maybe not.
I stood the bike up and off we went, had a great day,
Oh Yeah, I am getting shoulder (torn rotatorcuff) surgery this saturday so I did have a legitimate excuse for dropping the bike.

But Dude,,, saddle up and get out there never mind the s***ty stuff.

Got some nerve about getting back on the "real bike." That bike helped you regain your composure and you liked riding it, but it ain't a "real bike?" Ha!

Yep, me too. Just this past Sunday, as a matter of fact.
