i'll be sure to give that one a try! so far, all ive used is the tried and true method of "S100" and some elbow grease.

I used the Pledge multi-surface. Worked great as a chrome cleaner and removed some serious waterspots from the paint.
Think I'm going to good old regular lemon pledge for the paint. I like the idea of a waxy coating.

I think I may have found a time saver. I have found that a micro fiber wiper works great to clean most surfaces on the bike, but it can be a pain. The micro fibre and plain water removes most everything and leaves a virtually spot free surface, no drying needed. One of my vendors at work is going to send me a couple micro fibre gloves to try. No more tail of the rag dripping or dragging on an already done part, I hope. I'll let you all know how it works.

Ever try Go-Jo Hand cleaner? Makes the chrome shine, Cleanes the windsheild, and makes your hands soft. I work in the oilfields, and we buy it by the gallions. It works great on trucks, pick/ups. Takes off tar and road film. Use a wet towel and Go-Jo to get bugs off. I have on my NOMEX, so flame on!

[sm=exactly.gif] This is the only way I clean my windshield. No soap needed. Works on the toughest bug juice. Works everytime!
Get one of those blowers, it'll save time and gets water out of places you didn't know you had.

Something important on the windshields....never use Windex, or those types of cleaners on bike windshields, they will remove the protective glaze. Always use a clean SOFT cotton rag, and wipe the windshild either up-and-down only or side-to-side only, never in a circle. Cleaning the windshild in a circluar motion will cut swirls into the windshild which will cause optical problems...especially riding into the sun. The best way to clean a windshild...especially one with bugs, is to soak a soft rag with HOT water, and lay it over the windshild for a few minutes. This will lift the bugs and stuck-on stuff right off, and you can dry and/or polish with a soft dry rag... Following these steps will let your windshield last a LOT longer.

Only up and down motion on plastic windshields...
Any direction will cause scratches... Side to side or circles will cause scratches which make oncoming lights or sunlight scatter more. Just like polarized sunglasses, up and down is better.
