SERT / Power Commander

SERT / Power Commander
I would like to get a Power Commander on my bike. Do I have to remove the SERT thats currently on the bike or just leave it on the bike and "bypass" it. My bike is running very lean so I would like to be able to change things up some.

I have the SEPST and installed PCV, no problem.
Not debating here over which is better. I am going back to have SEPST tuned in to my bike but only because it frees up the PCV for wifes scoot we bought this year......blah.....blah....blah
So if the SERT is the older SEPST(I think that is the case?) should not be a problem.

U don't install the SERT and leave it on the bike....
The SERT tuner is only used when U have it tuned, then its removed... it reprograms Ur bikes computer....
Unlike the pc which is a piggyback system and stays on the bike...
If Ur running lean with the SERT then U need to have someone Dyno turn it..
If U installed the sert and then used a canned map on it Ur not really getting the benefits of having one in the first place...

I've used piggy-back types but the SE type sounds interesting and I have no pride so I'll ask a dumb (maybe) question. Since the SE type is temporary for loading a new "map", can you save some $ by "loaning" a SERT and/or SEPST to your riding buds (group buy 1 item only)?
