RideMaxx Tuner, American Microfuel
Does anyone know how to get a hold of American Microfuel? The one man show makes the RideMaxx "Bluetooth" ECM tuner. Just got my unit after 3 month backorder. American Microfuel no longer has a working website (americanmicrofuel.com) or search under RideMaxx. No personal cell phone for owner Joe Remitz (360-201-9315), no company number (360-380-2930). Their address is 2181 Buchanan Loop Suite 8, Ferndale, Washington 98248 USA. All this is off pretty nice glossy literature he sent to me in May. His 866-930-2930 number was dead then.
I've talked to this man and received emails from him in May. He has not answered my emails or phone calls for over a 2 months. I did get someone to contact him (another vendor customer of his by his personal Blackberry) He said he could fill an order in two days for them. I had to wait 2-3 weeks after I heard that. My order came thru JP Cycles of Iowa.
His website says "we'll be back". I think the one man show is belly up?
Can we get something posted onto the Internet so when others do a search or buy this tuner from several vendors they would know if there is a company to support the product.
Sellers might be dumping inventory. JP Cycles who's sold these tuners for some years can't get a hold of him either.
Anyone up in Washington know this guy? Supposedly he was involved with another company at one time like Power Commander?

My Ridemaxx just stopped working. I've been getting a failure code on my '09 Ultra Classic and I disconnected the Ridemaxx this morning to see if it was the cause. Sure enough the failure code P118 didn't come up again after removing the tuner.

Does anyone have the RideMaxx Tuner 1.2.4 software? I want to load it on a different computer and I cannot download it from the web because he is gone belly up. I can send you a link to upload it if you have a copy. Thanks!!

Had one on my 03 glide for about 3 months. It worked well at first, then I noticed at 60-75 mph that the bike would cough as tho the fuel had shut off. this might happen 2 times in 50 miles. 80 mph and over there were no probs. The day I made the decision to remove it, I went to start my bike to go to a bud's place to remove and reinstall my other fuel inj tuner. Smoke came out from the side cover when I hit the starter, and I immmediately turned off the ignition and removed the side cover to find the ridemaxx had a hole burned thru it and was still smoking. I removed ridemaxx and counted myself lucky the ecm wasn't damaged as the bike started up and I was able to reinstall my other tuner. My advice is to steer clear of any deal involving a ridemaxx unit.
