Picking Pipes is like picking Ur wife..... I've seen some ugly married women.......

Each has there own idea's of what we want...

Most V&H's systems are great quality..and usually LOUD...

Also they all should produce better numbers, (low-mid TQ) than 2-2's or true duals...

As stated above, IMO from what I've read, seen and heard,,, the D&D's, TH'ers, ST's, Bassi's, V&H's, and RH's are in the upper class of 2-1's

U just need to pick the looks and sound U like.....

We installed a new pro pipe chrome on a friend's 06 fatboy and I absolutely love it. Looks great, sounds great and performs. They dont look quite like the one pictured as they step up in size which in person is great. The size at the tip is huge.

I would definitely recommend it. The guys at v&h also really talked up the performance of the chrome over all their other pipes.

How loud was it compared to stock? Was that with the stock baffles or the optional quiet baffles?

The company's own description downplays the performance relative to the 2 into 1 big radius that they describe as having "white knuckle performance". On the other hand, a quiet baffle is available for the chrome pro pipe, but not (at least I don't see it) for the 2 into 1 big radius.

I've got the Pro Pipe Chrome on my '03 Fatboy. Just put it on 3 or 4 months ago. Replaced the Bigshot Longs I had on it.

The PPC has a nice low rumble. Not too loud at all. In fact the Bigshots were much louder. I can ride through the neighborhood without upsetting the neighbors...

My wife and I run that pipe on our bikes. Great sound, nice low rumble. Loud when you want it to be loud.
