K & N Air filter
#11
I'm thinking about getting the K&N RK-3910-1. I'm reading that you don't need to remap, unless you changed out to a high flow exhaust. My question, I have Fullsac true dual conversion and Fullsac 2 inch recored pipes. Would adding this K&N require me to remap or will it be safe to simply add the K&N RK-3910-1 filter?
Sorry forgot to mention, I've got a 2007 Electra Glide Ultra Classic.

You state you have Stage 1 - Stage 1 includes freer flowing exhaust, freer flowing air box and filter and one of a number of choices for a tuner. If you are just changing from one brand of freer flowing air filter to another I do not think you would need to re-tune.
The K & N might have the potential to flow more air than a Screaming Eagle (if thats what you have), I don't know, but the cfm specs are available I am sure. In any event it won't flow more air than your existing headers and mufflers will allow.
