Our summer here was WAY TOO HOT as well. I not only didn't ride my bike through a stretch there in July & August, but I pretty much didn't do anything except sit inside with the air conditioner on. Temperatures in the 90s (30s Celsius), but here it also gets very humid. I remember one day just standing outside talking to my neighbor and we're both sweating like crazy.

Fall is the best time to ride. The air is cool & crisp and all the leaves are different colors. It's quite beautiful. In the Winter time we pretty much spend 3 month frozen in ice so there isn't much chance to ride a motorcycle then.
Oh! The place you live too!! Wow.
When I was a kid my town used to have snow and sometimes icy but recently the winter is not so cold.
So we can ride in even the winter happily. Ha ha

I know the climate in Aomori is severe in the winter but at least now, it would be better than here to ride.
I really have wanted to see Nebuta Matsuri someday.

I live down in Kobe and this summer has been to hot to take the bike out. Harley's are very popular here. In Kobe alone (city of 1.5m) there are 3 dealers. I was lucky re: the big bike licence as the Japanese road laws are based on the UK and as a UK citizen with a bike licence for over 40 years they gave me big bike licence here without any tests or exams. Japanese rice burners (crotch rockets) don't make sense due to the strict speed limits. Hoping to get out in a few weeks when the autumn weather should arrive.Back in the UK I've got a BMW R1200GS so I've got the best of both worlds. Hoping to take my Harley home in 5 years as well.

Hi.

I have a British friend too, and we often chat on the Internet using Windows Live Messenger with each webcams.
I have heard of it from him and I felt the rule and the style were similar.
I understand Japanese license system is based on the UK style.
I see.
I sometimes go bike riding with BMW riders too.
Are you here Japan for your job?
Do you like Japan?
Anyway, this summer is too terrible.
I hope the fall will come soon.

Anybody mess with your bike under stairs?
Thanks for worrying.
Nobody never touches my bike so far.
I usually cover it with a bike cover, so nobody can see it.
Although I have been anxious since I bought it.
I really want to build a garage for the bike but unfortunately I hove no money to build it now. Ha ha.
I hope it will be safe along.

Nori,
I live in northeastern Oklahoma. We have high heat and high humidity in summer. Several days this year 100-107 degrees and 90+ humidity. Not fun for riding.
I have a Japanese female friend that I met in college. She and her family live in Osaka. We still exchange Christmas cards.
I would like to visit Japan someday.

Been hot and humid on the very few days it hasn't rained here over the summer. I rode a girlfriends endoro in Okinawa back in the early 90's. Only ridden a Harley in Korea.
