I've got a BD Street Bob and I saw a post about painting White Walls on the tires of one, I really like the looks of WW's on the bike just not the painted on ones and was wondering if anyone knows whether WW's are available in 250mm? I can't seam to find them.

 

You most likely saw my bike. If you have an 06' you're out of luck on a 17" rear white wall, nobody makes one, yet. You can get one for the 19" front, but what's the sense of running one without the other?

 

don't know what you saw read but many many years ago
when I was a kid we had white wall paint sold by western auto
black and red can - don't know why I remember that but - you could paint
on whitwalls and the looke ok depending on your prep and patience

It must of been yours, I really like the WW look, I look on the link about the guy that invented the paint and I didn't really care for the way those car tires looked. It just wasn't very smooth looking, brush strokes were very visible too me. But man, does it look good!

How does the paint look on your bike? How about the brush strokes? I was thinking maybe I could just paint the back tire and buy one for the front.
