Default New Arlen Ness Deep Cut Grips - Sticking?!

I've only used HD grips in the past - never had a problem.. Just bought these new Arlen Ness Deep Cut billet grips for my Softail and the throttle side is supposed to ride on this insert & bearing - Seems like the internal dimensions of the grip is too close to the size of the handlebars and it grabs and doesn't slide very well. So the throttle sticks rather than snapping back like it should when you release it. Not sure how safe it is to ride this way.. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and how they dealt with it - Thanks for reading - Have a great holiday weekend. This picture shows how the throttle side grip is supposed to work - the red insert goes inside the handlbars with the little nut & washer at the end of the handlebars and the bearing mounted inside the end of the grip rides on the nut - but it doesn't work very well, either that or the grip is just not big enough inside for the handlebars, creating resistance.

I have had problems a couple times with aftermarket grips--they always seem to stick--that's one area where I stick with the Factory stuff!

Thanks guys - Did a search of the forum - Found a suggestion to loosen the bolts, pull back and 8th of an inch and tighten it back down and it worked.. I had the grips pushed in too far - it was rubbing against the end of the handlebar.. Problem solved.. Should've searched before I posted.. Thanks for the replies.. Have a great weekend.
