68K in 3-4 years isn't that high.
My '08 has 92K on it and has never left me stranded anywhere.
No drive train problems and still running strong.
As others have mentioned, if the regular maintenance was performed the bike shouldn't give you any major problems.

For me I would pay a little more and get one that has a few thousand miles on it and run it till your ready for a new one. I bought my 06 RKC with 7200 and now it has 22,000. Best thing I have ever owned and love it. The guy before me cherished it also and took damn good care of it. I plan on riding for a while longer. These bikes nowadays will last much longer I think

My '96 had 20K on it when I bought it and 2 weeks later the engine blew and had to be replaced. (dealer said previous owner had done some mods that didn't hold up) I now have 48K on it and it runs like a new bike. If the price was right I wouldn't worry.

I bought a 2000 Ultra mated to a Liberty sidecar with 50,000 miles on it. Flew the wife & then 19 month old kid out to pick it up in San Diego & rode back to Tampa , and that was in early april , have put on quite a few more miles on it since we have gotten it home , and no issues.

I bought it August 20, 2001 - and sold it August 1, 2009. I wish I was retired!! I actually only get about 2 days off a month (although it's only been about one day off a month for a while now) and have a 112 mile round trip commute. I live in Indiana, where the riding season is 9 months max, but I generally ride every day during that 9 months, rain or shine. I do get 5 weeks vacation every year, and take trips on the bike when I can.

I wouldn't think anything if it were an Evo, but with a TC, I'd be worried about the cam tensioners--you KNOW they're shot!
