Default Buying a Toyhauler

Hey guys I am buying a Toy-Hauler made by Keystone the model is a Raptor 30fs...anybody got one of these or at least a Toy-Hauler there willing to admit they own and use. We as a family are really looking forward to it.

Wondering what your loving about it? We have our reasons and hope it doesn't fade into more of a chore than a great family time.

When the Mrs and I got together 5 years ago she asked about a toy hauler. I told her she should have gotten a larger bag if her vibrator wouldn't fit.

As I recall, that was our last camping trip. When she comes along we motel it.

Funny you should mention that, it is mine I started... I was just trying to get more input from those not lurking in the Touring Section.

Don't own a TH, but do own a travel trailer for family camping. I would seriously like to own a Keystone Fuzion, prefer them to the Raptors. Remember, those TH's are heavy, depending on what model, you are going to need a truck that is up for the job. I used to lurk on RV.net and spend a lot of time on the TH forum, lot's of good reading there.

Toy Haulers are heavy in the front without anything in the garage. They are balanced with the max load in the garage. A 3/4 ton will pull the Raptor 30fs good.

Another good website where you can get answers is Trailer Life http://www.trailerlife.com/forums/in...m/13516802.cfm

Sold our camper a while back. Did not have a TH but I would switch and take the bike sometimes, but most of time took the cart.
We been camping for 20 years. Kids got to teenagers and did not want to go anymore.
Want another one once they are gone. I miss it. Camping is something you got to want to do. Just being outdoors.
It is a pain loading up and unloading each time. But if you enjoy it then it's just something you got to do.
I'm looking forward to having another and a TH would be great, can take both bike and cart.
Good luck, go on a lot of short trips, hope you enjoy it.
I had 3 campers, the one I just sold was a 2000 37' triple bunk TT

in daytona with the bike

Thanks for the pics and thoughts. Did you use a 1/2 or 3/4 ton truck to pull your camper? And was it a diesel?
