I had a Ford van long time ago with a 460 gas. It would pull but only got 7 MPG. Had a 29' Terry and you had to white knuckle drive it. Too much sway when big trucks came by.
Ran across my truck I still got. 97 1 ton dually with the 6.5 turbo diesel.
The diesels get better gas miles than gas. But they cost more to buy.
The extra set of rear wheels is unbelieveable. They give you so much more stability. You go from 2 hand driving to one hand driving.
A 3/4 ton truck would be ok but you got to know how much weight you have. My 37' TT was 10k and the cart was another 1000 and 4 people inside, so my truck did not want any more. Hard pullin hills.
If you are getting a 5th wheel they handle great and no sway. The TT tend to sway some but the dual wheels stop that.

I got a 26 ft Nitrous and love it. I know we get the anti trailering crowd on line but I don't call it trailering. I call it Camping with the option of bringing my bike.
I am looking at upgrading in a few years, I have a few friends with Fuzions and they love them. I like the Fuzion 383, hope to buy it and spend my winters in the sunny southern US.
Hope you enjoy your RV as much as I do.

Wondering what your loving about it? We have our reasons and hope it doesn't fade into more of a chore than a great family time.
Sorry Dude I reread your post, I thought you said you had a Fuzion, and I commented on that. I also have a friend with a Raptor 35 ft, hauls it with a ford F250 no problem, and he loves the RV.

I looked at one of these and the box is very small. I watched a guy try to load a Goldwing and it took him an hour. He had to wedge it in on a 45 degree angle.

Just a suggestion but take your bike to the RV dealer, load it first, and make sure it is still your choice. Oh yeah tie it down too, the guy I wathed looked like a contortionist trying to work in the small area.

Yeah the box looks way bigger, I must of seen last years model.

Check out Roberts Products when you start looking for a Tie down. Best product ever, hook your bike up in 30 seconds, no straps. Believe me with your Ultra you want to avoid tie down straps as much as possibe.

I use th Roberts brace and it is awesome (oh yeah, I have no shares in the company, just a good product)
