I actually did notice the tank kind of angled down to where the seat is like a girls bicycle. 
Actually I like the looks of that bike a lot especially the black and white one.

Everyone tells me my Road King is an old man's bike. I really don't care what they think. By the way, can you really get into the Marine Corps at 5'6"? Just asking.

WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM. A DELUXE is a Harley davidson. It dos,ent say boys or girls model and it dos,ent come in pink. I see girls on every other model as well as deluxes and no one is calling a fat boy a sissy bike. The delux has style that harley davidson is famous for and i am insulted by such a statment .I am an x marine and have never had any one call me a girl or question my manhood so think about what a dum statment that is . You should buy the bike you like and that fits you not the the model that you think other people think is the right one .I,m 5'6 and love my bike . YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT?

Sure....if a Girl wants to tour on one! Then it's a Girl's touring bike...Seriously...pretty much any model can do what ever you want it to do....just depends on how you set it up....My wife rides a Sportster and absolutely drools over the Deluxe. Why? The nostalgic styling and the low seat height. It's a great looking bike that she can put her feet down on.....She loves my RoadKing too...but she doesn't want one.... On the other hand I've seen a lot of guys on bad a$$ Deluxe's....Like most Harley's it is what you do with it....

It's true that the Deluxe is the first HD that was marketed towards the female riders. (Lower seat height, lighter look, etc.)
But that doesn't make it a girl's bike.
If you ask me . . . just about every Metric cruiser has worked hard to incorporate the nostalgic look and feel of the Deluxe. In my opinion, It's one of the best looking bikes HD has yet designed.

Wow, I was a little suprised at a couple of the comments to the question. I would LOVE to pick up a Deluxe. I think my wife would be able to handle it better than most of the other models and personally, I would enjoy riding it immensly, myself. I will say that I have been lurking around two different dealerships and had three different salesPERSONs (2 men and 1 woman) tell me that they sell Delxues to more women than men, by a large margin. They attributed it to low seat height and light "feel" than other full size models.
Personally, I love the style. Classic and timeless!
