Default Help me choose. First HD

Ok so I just sold my Dodge Cummins. So I have quite a bit after I sell that and pay some bills off. Time to get on a HOG.

Choosing between 3 at the local dealer.

Here they are. Pics are respectively in order.

2001 Road King-30k miles, $14.9k. All custom, skull paint, apes, air ride.
2005 Softail Springer-15k miles, $12.9k
2005 Nightrain-17k miles, $13.9k. Lots of work, flat black, bored out to a 95cu in motor from what salesman said.

Im leaning towards the springer, but Ive seen a TON of nightrains on here with custom work and they are very nice.

Thanks guys. My whole family is HD nuts. Uncle,Dad, Step dad. I am too just never been able to get one. Ive been approved from HD many times before. I just wasnt ready to take home at time. I need a HD. I mean I just named my second son HARLEY!

Ive rode street bikes just no HD. Dad said HD is easy to ride.

Thanks guys. Give me your input. On handle bars, motor, prices, miles, etc.

I know its all on how I feel on it, which one I like etc of course. Just need input.

I'd be torn between the RK and the Night Train but Ultimate for comfort and the long haul would probably pick the RK.

how hold are you and how much do you plan to ride. Im 30 came from sport bikes and just sold a 09 night train i put a lot of money in(check my albums) loved the bikes looks!!! but riding it for more than a hour at a time kills you

do you ever ride out of your county or with you old man, no storage without bags, and they change the looks dramatically, how bout your old lady she wont like that seat much more that about a hour and she will be complaining.

I got a street glide as do a lot of youger guys looks phukin awesome, ride all day with your chit in you bags and jam to some zepplin while doing so and never get sore just my

Depends on the type of riding you will be doing, & which bike fits you the best. My vote would be for the RK just because of the comfort factor.

Im 26. Im in SC, Dad is in TN, step dad is in FL. So Im right between them in a way If I want to ride to them.

Real dad is a big bike rider. Im sure Id go on some rides with him.

Wife, not too sure.

Im 5'8'' or so 140lbs give or take. I love the RK but that is a big b*tch. Very intimidating.

King! By the way, naming the tricycle motor Harley works whether the kid turns out straight or gay!

That RK is bad ***. If you're gonna go long trips it's the way to go.

That springer is **** hot too. Barhopping on that thing would be a blast.

Dude, I envy you having to make such a tough decision. Let us know how it turns out.

Thanks man. Im about to call HD back or just wait on their call to see what they say. Been approved before so shouldnt be an issue.

The RK is bad ***. I sat on it and its amazing. It is a heavy ***** though. Not sure If I could handle such a beast.

The springer is sweet too. Puttin' around town would be fun. The RK is perfect for trips. Which I may go on, may not. I really dont know. If i were to go Id like to have a bike thats made for it.

I will let you guys know.
