I took the orginal reat seat and make it a solo backrest only. '

Bought the same thing for my girl and after an 1,100 mile 2 day excursion this past weekend she had no complaints. Well worth the $140.

I have buddies with them and they say that they're really comfortable, cool in the summer, & warm in the winter.

But thats why i am leaving her home for Delmarva Bike Week
The Sundowner is a great/comfy seat but only if your passenger is much shorter than you. My GF is only 2" shorter than me and I sold the Sundowner 1 day after mounting it. She was getting much more air in her face and she didn't like it. The Sundowner driver seat is lower than the stock seat (which I didn't need) but she was sitting pretty much at the same height as with the stock seat so I didn't protect her as much as before.
I will have her stock seat shaved 1" to 1.5", hoping that it'll still be comfy.
