Harley Flu?????
Hey I am new to all this HD addiction, I bought my first bike (1996 1200 Sportster/Skirtster(HA!!HA!!), about two and a half months ago. I talked my dad into getting his learners just to give it a try and well................I think I have created a monster........Monday we are going to the dealership and he is going to order a brand new 07 softail (He is heavily leaning towards a duece). I find it so funny, because my dad is the type of guy that still has the first penny he ever earned, but something about riding my H-D brings out this crazy passion in him. I think it is super cool, as he had a massive heart attack a few years ago, and this HD Flu is helping him not only live but enjoy his life. I can't wait until he buys a bike. So we can ride together, oh yeah and so that I can maybe take the Duece for the odd spin!!!

RE: Harley Flu?????
Well,
I heard that the first symptom of Harley Flu is the appearance of an eye problem.......like--"I can't see going to work today when I could be riding my bike"......good luck.

I though it had something to do with the needed "accessories" one must have in order to fully enjoy the sickness of it all.

I know exactly what you mean, HarleyCanada. I too had a massive heart attack in July'03 at the age of 43. I bought my first Harley, an '06 Softail heritage Classic in July. I'm having a great time with the bike, have been riding pretty much every weekend, up to around 1800 miles so far. Tell your dad he has some company out there, and to ride safe!
