It seems that whatever vibration (I don't feel too much) happens at 82mph, it makes my nose itch like crazy!

Anyone else suffer from this strange ailment?

 

Holy smokes - I thought I was the only wierdo who suffered from dreaded nose itch. I can't pinpoint a speed - it strikes without warning and then is RELENTLESS. No amount of rubbing, itching, scratching, etc. will soothe the beast. It just goes away after awhile, but drives me nuts until it does.

I think it's the updraft from around the tanks swirling around your nostrels. On a long haul I wear a bandana or it drives me crazy.

My nose will only itch when I am unable to scratch it, ie. gloves on.

 

For me it's my arms. At about 70 I get this tingling feeling and they start to itch and the weird thing is that scratching doesn't help. I always thought it was because of the hair on my arms.

 

I hear ya on that one! my hose only itches when my hands are dirty, or my hands are full

 

I think it happens when your nose dries out from the wind...try a bit of vaseline....works for me.....

 

There's nothing worse than a hose itch in public! What are you supposed to do!?

Hehehe... I don;t know what speed it happens at, but I do notice that on long rides, my nose does itch a lot more than usual! I always attributed it to road dust, etc...
