Default X2 fighter pilot stick style grips

Anybody ever use these chrome & rubber grips? They are sort of square with rounded corners to conform to the shape of wrapped fingers. It is supposed to look like a flight stick, but I was wondering about the overall feel. I don't have huge mitts and they are supposedly somewhat smaller in diameter than stock grips.

I liked the look of those grips, so I bought a pair. What a waste of money. I could not
hold on to the grip for a long period of time without my right hand cramping. Seems the
chrome surface where the rubber isn't is real slick making you hold on tighter.
Like I said, I liked them but I took them off and sold them, now have chrome and rubber
grips.

Thanks. I have no experience with them myself.

Here's the pic and part # :

X2 Hand Grips

The uniquely styled X2 grips look like a fighter pilot's flight stick. Highly contrasting "ribs" of chrome and rubber give this small diameter grip a futuristic look.

Fits '96-later VRSC™, XL, XR, Dyna®, Softail® (except FLSTSE2) and '97-'07 Touring models.

Someone is taking a lot of liberty calling that a "fighter stick grip."

I had them on my 06 ultra and loved them. Much better than factory grips. Rode to GA a few years ago and FL this year from NY and no cramps.

I had the X2 grips on a Dyna Wide Glide and a Heritage Softail. They look better real than the picture shows, and I thought they were very comfortable. The flattened style let me flex my throttle hand while resting on the flat surface, making it easy to maintain throttle speed. I have large hands and they fit me very well - not sure why they refer to them as a small diameter grip. At the same time they're not bulky or fat.
