A few do have them, never needed them personally, never had a warped rotor. If rotors ever need replacing floaters are too expensive and do not stop the bikes any faster for this cat especially with so many takeoff rotors for sale these days.

I had warped front rotors on my '07 SG. Replaced them with floaters under extended warranty. Warranty paid the costs of stock rotors plus labor so I basically got floaters for a helluva discount. Indy had a pile stock rotors in the back of his shop, all warped.

My '09 Ultra Classic front brakes have been pulsing a little when rolling to a slow stop. I'll soon be mounting a set of chrome Ultra Limited wheels and was wondering if I should mount a set of floating rotors while I'm at it.

Floaters look better and perform better than standard...but it's still pot luck if they remain true in service...

are you absolutely sure they're warped? i don't have that model and never worked on it, but sometimes a grabby/pulsing brake can be fixed with a green scrub pad and brake cleaner. you'll get buildup when holding the brake at a light when the brakes are really hot. a lot of people do it and don't know they're creating sticky spots.

Just replaced the rotors on my Fat with floaters 'cause the rear was howling when I came to a stop. Changed the howl to a slight sqeak. No difference in braking, but they look great!
