wow, thats a durn nice cabin. a little big for just the two of us, but sure would be sweet to spend more than a couple nights. reasonable rates, too. unfortunately, not available for the week we need.....

take a look at Johnathan creek inn in maggie valley. Right near wheel thru time museum. No night life but a very nice place/ lodgeing and the ride. Can park the bike right in front of the room. Be ashame to be so close and not see the museum.

When we make plans for a trip and we know we are going to be staying a couple of days, I go to priceline and bid on what I want. I have saved upwards of 45% on rooms in Gatlinburg in October when the leaves are turning. No Joke. I always pricline my rooms. I got a 1500.00 a night room in New Orleans for 100 bucks a night. I got a 4 star room in southbeach for 60.00 a night including a weekend.

I don't work for them nor am I affiliated with them in any manner, I jusy use them when I want a good cheap room at a 4-5 star place.

Camping is cheap. $15/day. Semi private rooms are $64.95. Basic and comfortable. Semi private means you share a bathroom with the people in the room opposite you.

Room / bathroom / room.

This is were we stay when we are down there. The cabins are very clean and the whole property is nicely maintained. It is a mild place to stay, which is why I stay there.

That Two Wheel Inn looks like a good deal.

Probly. Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota... none of those states have much in the way of trees.

Check out the Magnuson Hotel at the Sweetwater TN exit off of Interstate 75. They are biker friendly, very clean and newly remodeled. We stayed there last month for about $55 a night with free breakfast and dinner buffet for registered guest. It's a short ride to either the dragon or the Cherahola Skyway.

There are several hotels in Bryson City and 10 minutes away is Cherokee, there are several nice hotels, that won't kill your wallet and are pretty nice, hot tub and pool etc.
