eastside of rt 7 in kent there is a mixture of roads, driveways, RR track, parking lot stores, there is a place where you can get great pizza north of the Bronx. Haveb't been that way in a while, think the name was kent pizza, average price family rest with a bar on one side

I see you're right near Dover/Amenia. I was up there riding last month. PM an address & your cell. If I get up early enough I may do it. One of my pups is acting funny so I may have to take him to the vet. Most likely I'm riding.

I made the ride up & met with Mark. We took a nice loop around the area. He's right, beautiful riding area & nice town. Being right next to the river the temps had to be 15* cooler then everywhere else I rode today. After we split I parked & walked around a bit & decided to grab a cold one & a mini pizza at the Kent Pizza place mentioned above. It was delicious & I met 3 other riders & we threw the bull for a while. From there I headed west through Millbrook, NY & then to Hyde Park & stopped at Zacks V-twin shop. Great people & a nice shop. Zack used to own Yonkers Harley Davidson & sold it in 79 & reopened a HD dealership in Poughkeepsie. Funny thing, the Yonkers shop was was right next to the building I bought in 81. We were almost neighbors. Then after talking to his wife Rita, she tells me her niece lives in my town. When she mentioned the road I told her my daughter baby sat 2 kids on that street for over 10 years & was very close to the family. Turns out it is her niece. Small world. BTW, they are a Victory dealer & had some nice bikes on the floor & offered to let me take out a Cross Country. Lots of HD stuff too. I declined the ride as I don't even want to tempt myself. LOL. Great ride, thanks Mark, you have 2 great kids & we wish your wife a full recovery too. 160 wonderful miles today.
